We are seeking to hire a Project Engineering Associate Manager for our Orlando site.

What you will be doing:

Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.

Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Deputy Manager to oversee execution of hardware Configuration Management (CM) activities under the Configuration Control IPT Lead for the Air Dominance program.

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving technical execution of CM efforts across multiple contracts including serving as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for Configuration Data Management (CDM) activities across the multiple contracts.

Selected candidate will uphold CM standards, integrity, and the quality of CM products and documentation.

Selected candidate will manage CM personnel in execution of duties necessary to analyze proposed changes to product design and determine effect on the configuration items and the overall system.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing engineering releases, change implantations, configuration status accounting, and configuration verification audits. As an Engineering and Technology (E&T) Manager, the candidate will be responsible for providing technical coaching, development, and mentoring for the CM team.

Basic Qualifications

• Active Secret (or Top Secret) clearance with current 5-year investigation.
• Bachelors of Science degree or Bachelors of Arts degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience managing technical projects and personnel.
• Advance knowledge and understanding of the principles and requirements for Configuration Management. Including configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration verification audits.
• Experience in implementing and conducting Configuration Management functions for multiple programs / customers and phases of programs (proposal, development, test, production, and sustainment). Including the application of contracts, statements of work, and DD250 sell-off execution.
• Advanced knowledge of technical data markings, formatting, and handling of unclassified and classified documentation. Including knowledge of data rights assertions and applications.
• Able to review and analyze engineering drawings and change proposals to ensure compliance and implementation. Including coordination of change incorporations with engineering, quality, logistic support, and manufacturing teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and capable of creating status and tracking reports for internal and external customers.

Desired Skills

• Experience as a Cost Account Manager with Earned Value Management.
• Experience with Product Data Management tools (Windchill or equivalent).
• Experience with developing proposals and basis of estimates.
• Risk identification and management experience.
• Demonstrated ability for solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
