Description:Working with the Aegis Test Team to develop and implement a test plan. The test plan will include status and reporting tools for the Aegis Combat System which require extensive knowledge in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel. This role will ensure shipboard testing and production requirements and goals are on schedule. Any changes to ship's production schedule, test schedule, contract documents, and contract deliverable requirement list issues and requirements may result from the findings. The incumbent will provide the Aegis Test Team with concerns pertinent to the ship construction, test and sea trail schedules as well as ensuring the Aegis Test Officer (ATO) and Aegis Test Manager (ATM) are informed of any situations that could impact long-term test and trial requirements. The incumbent will support the ATO with the presentation of data and metrics presented quarterly at the Ship Program Review (SPR). Using effective programs to display test program data and metrics in a professional deductible manner.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following.
• Developing automation tools and methods for planning, managing, and directing the Aegis Test Team facilities and ship scheduling.
• Work with the Aegis Test Team engineers and Test Operations group to understand testing requirements, needs, and resources needed.
• Work with the government test planner to develop and create tools to automate information to enhance schedule building and reporting process with an emphasis on identifying a schedules critical path. These tools will be used to monitor, analyze, and report at a program level.

*Candidate must have an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Work will be conducted at Naval bases, shipyards, and other facilities. The ability to work in an industrial environment and shipboard where access if often by stairs, ladders, and in confined spaces, is required.
• Occasionally underway shipboard support may be required for up to one week at a time.
• Some travel may be required
Desired Skills:• Ability to develop and program databases, scripts, develop tracking shortcuts to help facilitate the development of schedules and reporting methods.
• Artificial intelligence experience to implement and develop advanced machine techniques in order to organize and glean additional insight and knowledge of the test program.
• Practiced experience conducting project management work utilizing tools, skills, and foundational principles of the craft.
• Bachelor's degree from and accredited college in a related discipline.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
