What You Will Do
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that multiple equipment types within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) are fully operational. This individual supervises a high performing team that analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs broken equipment, as well as performs preventive maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Supervisor works with the Maintenance Manager and contractors to coordinate new construction and facilitate repair work, all while ensuring that it is completed in compliance with applicable regulations.

• Required to work a set schedule that meets the needs of the facility.
• May be asked to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends based on the needs of the facility.
• Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.
• Must be able to use tools and complete maintenance related tasks that require fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to work safely with corrosive materials and at heights of 20+ feet.
• Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
What You Need To Succeed
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field OR 4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area
• Experience with repairing/maintaining one or more of the following types of systems or equipment: conveyors, electro-pneumatic PLC controlled systems with photo eye detectors, electrical systems (440V or less), hydraulic and pneumatic systems, forklifts/reach trucks/floor sweepers/yard trucks, automatic systems, HVAC, basic plumbing systems, fabrication/welding
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements, and experience building a culture of safety among subordinates and peers
• If required by applicable law, certifications for performing supervisory electrical work in an industrial facility
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and various technical drawings
• Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, yard truck)
• Familiarity with Crown lift equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and performing simple fixes to PLC programming
• Leadership experience with direct report responsibility
• Experience mentoring and coaching others
• Experience monitoring the work of others to ensure quality
• Experience managing budgets or contributing to budget planning
• Experience working with and communicating to leadership all levels of the organization
• Previous leadership roles in other Lowe’s supply chain facilities, or leadership roles in Corporate-led initiatives
• Bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the facility
