We are looking for driven and passionate engineers for our Productivity Engineering team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of financial systems and business processes. The candidate is expected to design, develop, implement, and operate a high-quality system with frequent automated deployments. We are looking for a results-driven candidate who can help coach team members and deliver at the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
• Drive innovation by building and shipping software at scale.
• Improve craftsmanship at LinkedIn by developing best practices and defining best strategies.
• Implement system interoperability, data exchange, process integration and business process automation tools primarily focused on financial Applications.
• Develop API’s to Support integrations between Oracle EBS, Engineering Systems and SAAS applications.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables in terms of the technical design, implementation, testing and adherence to technical compliance standards.
• Draft design specifications and produce well tested, successfully integrated and fully documented solutions to business problems. Develop and execute unit test plans.
• Develop new strategies for improving internal processes and implementing optimal solutions through technology and tool sets.
• Design platforms/services/tools that can be used by others in a way that abstracts away the underlying complexity.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
• Collaborate with cross-domain partner teams (product, other engineering, finance transformation) to build an industry-leading financial systems platform.
Basic Qualifications:
• B.Tech/BE Degree in Computer Science or equivalent related technical discipline, or related practical experience
• 4+ years’ experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions
• 4+ years’ experience programming experience in Java, Python or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
• B.Tech/BE and 5+ years of relevant work experience or MS and 4+ years of relevant work experience of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python etc.
• Proficiency in SQL Plus, PL/SQL, and LINUX scripting.
• Strong experience in API design and development
• Strong experience in server-side frameworks (Spring/Flask/Django etc.)
• Experience working with cloud technology such as Azure.
• Strong understanding of WebServices (SOAP, REST, gRPC) preferred.
• Strong understanding of Devops concepts (GitHub and Azure DevOps preferred).
• Basic understanding of GenAI technologies.
• Professional experience in working with enterprise platform (like Oracle ERP, Fusion or SAP) building complex, scalable web and database applications.
• Self-motivated with an ability to take up initiatives and execute tasks with full ownership and deliver agreed upon deliverables in a timely manner.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
