What does a successful Settlement Controls Solutions Director do at Fiserv?
As a Settlement Controls Solutions Director, you will partner with the Project Readiness and Business Alignment teams to deliver value by driving the full lifecycle of multiple projects while contributing as a valued team member in adapting the way we work to as part of a dynamic business. The projects you will support will be complex, large-scale, high priority, and strategic as well as SCS internal sponsored projects. You will establish oversight mechanisms (e.g., project quality reviews, stage gates) to actively review performance of projects eliminating surprises and ensuring efforts are on track. You will own establishing executive visibility into performance, key risks/ issues for projects using state of the art reporting tools.
What you will do:
- Develop a strong partnership with key business stakeholders to ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery by planning, coordinating, and monitoring large scaled and budgeted projects.
- Transform SCS related project support from legacy waterfall methodology to an Agile project life cycle methodology.
- Create a foundational landscape for Agile project transition, while managing the scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
- Define an overall scope by building and maintaining a consolidated timeline.
- Provide a holistic view of the overall projects to the organization and all partners
- Define governance, outlining roles, responsibilities, decision rights and clearly defined critical issue paths.
- Ensure success criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively lead to encouraged outcomes.
- Actively communicate progress on an ongoing basis, ensuring visibility throughout the lifecycle
What you will need to have:
- 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- PMP Certification
- 8+ years’ experience in large scale Project Management (which could include consulting) with state-of-the-art hardware and software systems
- Experience with actively leading and participating with an environment that utilizes project management governance standard methodologies
- Experience managing projects and creating dashboards with JIRA
- Experience with utilization of Project Management tools such as MS Project, Visio, Power BI, and Power Point
What would be great to have:
- Experience working in Fin-Tech organization
- Experience working with international regions
Salary Range:
$122,900.00-$165,000.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
