The opportunity:
KBR Australia is seeking a talented Compensation and Benefits Specialist to serve as the point of contact for the People & Culture Team and Business Leadership on compensation, incentive schemes, and the benefits programs across all KBR APAC business lines.
As the Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will manage market intelligence activities, including the submission of salary surveys, compensation benchmarking, and analysing data to populate KBR Australia’s job pricing database.
In conjunction with People & Culture and Business Unit (BU) Leads, you will design project specific performance and retention incentive plans, as well as support global initiatives including the Annual Salary Review and incentive nominations processes. A key focus will be providing guidance on the uplift of KBR Australia’s compensation and benefits offering, ensuring compliance with local legislative requirements where applicable.
This position is Full Time, based in either Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne.
In this position you will:
Working with the global compensation team and the local People team to design compensation and benefits solutions for employees
Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements as appropriate
Participation in various project work and testing including global Workday maintenance
Providing input into bids and proposals, specifically to respond to requests for internal and external compensation and benefits data and associated questions
Communicating with employees and management through the update of people policies, maintenance of internal P&C website and other internal communications channels.
As the ideal candidate, you will bring:
Prior experience in a specialised compensation and benefits role
Prior experience with salary surveys and benchmarking
Strong data analysis skills
Australian Citizen with ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, HR or similar (desirable)
Knowledge of Workday (compensation) (desirable)
