Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an SE-3 Chicken Little Data Analyst for the Cyber TMAS 2 contract, supporting the 46 TS / TGBB at Eglin AFB. FL.
Astrion is seeking a Test Data Analyst to provide mid-career level engineering, mathematical, physical science, and computer science services to Project Chicken Little, 46th Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, Florida. The Test Data Analyst should have multi-disciplinary experience in Department of Defense (DoD) weapons systems, with emphasis on sensors/seekers and targets. The 46th Test Squadron conducts sensor, seeker, and target Test and Evaluation for Air Force and DoD programs.

JOB STATUS: Full Time
TRAVEL: 10-20%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience is required. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
- Active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI. (US Citizenship & Full Application Required for Consideration)
- Relevant technical experience and knowledge in Test and Evaluation Data Analysis.
- Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team and lead/direct the work of others.
- Proficiency in the use and integration of MS Office applications.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Extensive knowledge of, computer and/or data sciences, mathematics and engineering principles
- Software Coding experience desired
- Verbal and written communication with DoD decision makers.
- Familiarity with DoD weapons systems.
- Hands-on test data collection and analysis experience.
- Hands-on experience with analysis tools such as MATLAB, Visual Basic, JMP (DOE), and Python.
- Desire a team player to learn and train on weapons system sensor, seekers, and targets.
- Self-starter with a desire to independently solve problems and participate in small technical teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for collecting sensor, seeker, and target test data.
- Responsible for test data processing, exploitation, and test reporting.
- Responsible for expertise on sensors/seekers/targets test design.
- Develops and communicates test findings via test reports and technical briefings to customer programs.
- Provides test data to various target signature databases.
- Performs other related functions as required to advise and assist the test customer in the successful accomplishment of sensor/seeker/target development.
