Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Senior Chicken Little Systems Analyst for the Cyber TMAS 2 contract, supporting the 46 TS / TGBB at Eglin AFB. FL.
Astrion is seeking a Systems Analyst to provide senior level engineering, mathematical, physical science, and computer science services, as well Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) related services for Project Chicken Little, 46th Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 46th Test Squadron conducts seeker, sensor, and target Test and Evaluation for Air Force and DoD programs. Our team members are also responsible for supporting the United States Armed Forces in the tasking, collection, processing, and reporting of critical intelligence information.

JOB STATUS: Part Time
TRAVEL: <5% CONUS / OCONUS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Master’s Degree in a technical field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience is required. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Citizenship is required.
- Relevant technical experience and knowledge in: Test and Evaluation Data Analysis, and Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG)
- Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team and lead/direct the work of others.
- Proficiency in the use and integration of MS Office applications.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and mathematics, physical and computer sciences.
- Verbal and written communication with DoD decision makers.
- Familiarity with DoD weapons systems.
- Hands-on test data collection and analysis experience.
- Hands-on experience with analysis tools such as MATLAB, Visual Basic, JMP (DOE), and Python.
- Desire a team player to learn and train on weapons system sensor, seekers, and targets.
- Intelligence background and knowledge of ISR platforms and ISR methods such as GEOINT, SIGINT, MASINT, AGI, OSINT, HUMINT, IMINT, and Hyperspectral.
- Prior experience or knowledge of ISR Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) of remotely sensed data such as Hyper/Multi-Spectral Imagery (HSI/MSI), Thermal/Infrared Imagery, Electro-Optical Imagery, Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR)
- Ability to fuse mutli-discipline intelligence sources to provide accurate and timely full spectrum imagery-based analysis in support of multiple geographically dispersed DoD organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in seeker sensor, and target test data collection efforts.
- Process and analyze test data, as required for test reporting.
- Provide Expertise on Test Design for seekers/sensors, and targets.
- Develop and communicate test findings to customers via test reports and/or technical briefings
- Provide test data to various target signature databases.
- Perform imagery analysis and imagery derived MASINT analysis
- Communicate analytical assessments clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present analysis products and ideas to customer
