Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an ET-2 TGS Security Specialist. for the Cyber TMAS II contract, supporting the Air Force.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree and 0-3 years of applicable experience. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
- Active Secret clearance. S. Citizenship.
- Previous experience providing physical, personnel, or program security on Air Force or DoD installations required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
- Good interpersonal communications and customer support skills.
- Comfortable working in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently following training.
- Willing to work extended hours on occasion, if required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide programmatic support for a wide range of 96 CTG test projects. Provide facility entry control duties including checking personnel identifications for proper clearance requirements, validating visit requests have been received, and ensuring visitors are logged in and out of the building to include proper badging.
- Conduct security inspections to include several daily facility walkthroughs, evaluate and analyze protection in areas where classified information is stored, and arm/disarm security alarms, according to established security procedures.
- Develop and establish security procedures and policies and analyze compliance with all security procedures and policies.
- Develop and maintain a database, which reflects receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition of classified information to include data entry, updates, and generation of reports.
- Develop and maintain a database of classified visits and clearance level.
- Prepare visit certifications using Defense Information Security System (DISS) and transmit to appropriate organizations.
- The ability to provide exceptional customer support to all stakeholders is critical.
- Ability to work independently following training.
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends, if required.
