The opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is looking to resource a Senior Product Support Analyst to support the E-7A Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft, a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system. The successful candidate will possess the following personal attributes:

The E-7A Development, Product Support Block Execution Senior Product Support Analyst is a member of the Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Product Support Maintenance and Training Capability. In this role you will work within the E-7A Development Product Support team in the development and maintenance of support system solutions for AEW&C systems. Assess, coordinate and contribute to the update of the E-7A System Support Analysis (SSA) for:
- early fielding analysis tasks;
- post-production support analysis for Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS);
- verification of support concept and logistic support resource requirements;
- system modifications which add functionality, improve supportability and/or otherwise impact supportability requirements;
- SSA source data updates other than those driven by system modifications; and
- emerging operational environment constraints which impact the maintenance environment.
Responsibilities
E-7A Development, Product Support Block Execution Lead (Senior Product Support Analyst) responsibilities will include:
- Assessing impacts of system changes and effort required to update support system artefacts.
- Performing support systems analysis for design changes and upgrades and developing products and services to support the system through-life.
- Establishing and sustaining data elements associated with the logistics support analysis record.
- Collaborating with E-7A Development Product Support team members, responsible for self-quality checks and recommending process improvements to Team Lead.
- Working closely with AEW&C engineers and Execution Leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks to achieve project deliveries.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
To be successful you will have:
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in maintenance or operational support environments, or E7A platform knowledge.
- Formal qualification or demonstrated experience in delivering successful logistics/support systems analysis is desirable
- Experience working Product Support Analysis environment using industry recognised tools (OmegaPS, SLICwave, eLES/eMRD or similar
- Experience following MIL-STD-1388, DEF (AUST) 5691/5692, GEIA- STD-0007C Logistics Product Data is desirable
- Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance
- Current Australian Citizenship
