Warehouse Operations Specialist, Junior
Key Role:
Perform the activities of warehouse and internal supply chain to assist in the manufacturing and assembly of various products per established facility processes, including receiving, part put-a-way, part picking, part issue, receiving inspection, and shipping, to support production operations. Apply skilled trades such as inventory management, forklift operation, mil spec packaging, and the operation of other various material handling equipment and tools. Contribute new knowledge to programs and projects. Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and specific technical aspects of the job to complete varied and complex work. Make recommendations for new procedures. Work independently within established procedures and practices, lead tasks, and informally mentor others.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse operations
- Experience in shipping and receiving practices
- Knowledge of inventory control practices
- Knowledge of inventory transactions inside of computer-based systems, including SAP and Oracle
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, including a forklift
- Ability to read and follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
- Ability to operate computers and warehouse management computer software
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
