The District Sales Office is seeking a dynamic and experienced Agency Business Consultant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to agency owners, providing comprehensive training and support to help them achieve their business goals. You will also play a key role in representing the district professionally and fostering its growth.
Responsibilities:
- Agent Development: Conduct one-on-one consultations with agency owners, identifying growth areas and implementing strategies to boost sales, marketing, and overall performance.
- Training & Education: Deliver engaging training sessions on Farmers products, sales techniques, marketing strategies, and operational best practices to agents at all levels.
- Staff Development: Partner with agency owners to train and develop their staff, maximizing productivity and customer satisfaction.
- District Communications & Representation:
- Planning & Organizing District Meetings: Schedule meetings, secure venues, manage logistics, and coordinate with participants. Prepare agendas, presentations, and materials. Facilitate meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making.
- Marketing the District: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the district's activities and achievements. Create and distribute promotional materials. Maintain the district's website and online presence.
- Representing the District: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Communicate effectively with agency owners, staff, and community members. Build relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Ensuring Professionalism: Maintain high standards of professionalism in all interactions and communications. Pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy. Adhere to the district's brand guidelines and messaging.
Qualifications:
- Must Have: Extensive Farmers Insurance experience, with a deep understanding of Farmers products, sales processes, and systems.
- Must Have: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide others towards success.
- Must Have: Active General Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Must Have or Be Willing to Obtain: Active Life & Health (L&H) license.
- Must Be: A self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
- Must Be: An excellent communicator with exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Must Be: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Must Be: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
