YOUR IMPACT
The EDI Technical Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining the technical architecture that enables the seamless exchange of electronic data between the organization and its external partners.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Lead EDI legacy system map migration to new EDI platform (TG).
- Lead EDI scoping and design solutions. Develop, and supports ANSI X12 EDI transactions.
- Continuously monitor ticket queue and optimize processes for efficiency.
- Manage the ticket assignments in the queue to achieve max productivity for the team. Any excess for a given day must be assigned to offshore team.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to EDI maps, configurations, and integration.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data transmitted through EDI channels (Ex.Prudential)
- Coordinate weekly mapping technical meeting and another other mapping assistance required within the team.
- Lead or participate in EDI-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate testing efforts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of EDI transactions, by mastering Test Suite.
- Develop technical specifications, development approaches and time requirements for average to large size projects. Articulates problems and solutions to both internal and external customers.
- Develop cost/time estimates and value-add impact for assigned projects.
- Compare the present state of the business with a conceptual and desired future state and provide gap analysis; recommend process improvements.
- Provide leadership with pros/cons for moving forward with potential development projects.
- Interact with CSMs, sales executives and senior stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Review and respond to any JIRA tickets and contribute to IT project governance reviews.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide training and support to internal users on EDI processes, maps, tools, and best practices.
- Responsible for building a high-performance mapping team.
- Reboot Contivo repository systems, when they go down.
- Develop excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.
- Conduct end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, and functional requirements are being met, including the development of test cases, test scripts, and UAT protocols.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
This role involves designing EDI solutions, overseeing their implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing data exchange processes.
Candidate will have a deep understanding of EDI standards, mapping, protocols, and IT systems.
This position requires strong mapping, business system analysis skills.
The successful candidate should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
