Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more
- Maintain a positive working relationships across all of the Operations facility
- Track and store department inventory
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
- Experience in the repair of material handling equipment
- Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematic reading
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
- Project Management experience
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Experience with robotic operation and maintenance
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Must have ability to reach overhead, climb steps/ladders, frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment
- Must have ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required PPE, which may include but is not limited to a hard hat, face shield, and composite-toed shoes.
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day
- Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures, on shifts up to 12 hours a day
- Regularly required to use a computer for 1-2 hours per day
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.46 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
