MS Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology
Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology works with large scale databases such as DB2 and SQL Server, proprietary and non-proprietary messaging software, a broad variety of vendor products, numerous financial exchanges and regulatory entities, and programming languages ranging from .Net and Java to Cobol and VB.Net.

What you'll do in the role:
- Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.
- Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics.
- Implementation and design, development of components with a path to ownership.
- Participation in Design and code reviews
- Knowledge sharing with our global team.
- Experience in working with agile practice
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.
- Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
- Candidates with either a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, preferrable computer science
-Distributed hand-on technical lead with 3 - 5 years’ experience in leading technical teams in multiple onshore and offshore locations.
- Good Analytical and problem solving skills with proven experience in analyzing database program either with or without help from database developer
- Good Communication and team player skills, ability to work as part of a team developing various aspects of the application such as UI, mid-tier services, and database.
- Proven track record of quality deliverables while meeting deadlines by close coordination with various teams such as business, QA, UAT, Operations, application support group, and infrastructure
- Experience in integrating with multiple vendor products, record keepers, using REST web service or any other formats
- Proven experience with at least 2-3 years in managing order generation, execution, post-order processing across Wealth Management products such as Insurance, Annuities, Alternative Investment, Mutual Funds, and etc.
- Experience in performance tuning, code profiling, code review, hands on experience using Best Patterns and Practices
At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
