Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a K2 Administrator to help support our DCMA SDLC IWMS contract.
As a K2 Administrator, you will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of K2 solutions in highly secure environments, particularly within government agencies and defense contractors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in administering K2 environments, managing user access, maintaining system integrity, and providing technical support to ensure the reliability and performance of K2 solutions.
HOW THE K2 ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Environment Management: Manage and administer K2 environments, including installation, configuration, and optimization of K2 servers and components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
User Access Control: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within K2 environments, ensuring compliance with security standards and access control policies.
System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks to ensure uninterrupted operation of K2 solutions.
Patch Management: Manage patching and updates for K2 software and related components, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to schedule and implement updates in accordance with maintenance windows and best practices.
Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for K2 environments, ensuring data integrity and availability in the event of system failures or disasters.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and developers, resolving issues related to K2 functionality, performance, and integration with other systems.
Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation for K2 environments, including installation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
Security Clearance: Must currently maintain Tier III security background investigation in order to obtain IT Level II access prior to start date. Must be able to pass background check. Preference given to current CAC holders
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certification: Must have current and appropriate DoD approved IA baseline computing environment certification in accordance with IAW DoDM 8140.03, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, prior to start date. (i.e. Security+ CE, etc)
Year's Experience: 5+ years of experience in administering K2 environments, preferably in secure government or defense contractor settings.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in K2 platform components, including K2 Designer, K2 Workspace, K2 SmartForms, and K2 SmartObjects. Strong understanding of business process automation concepts, workflows, and best practices.
Experience with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, SQL Server, and .NET framework.
Certification in K2 development or administration (e.g., K2 Certified Administrator, K2 Certified Developer) preferred.
Experience with K2 cloud offerings and integration with cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Required Skills and Ability:
Strong understanding of K2 architecture, components, and best practices for installation, configuration, and optimization.
Experience with user access control, security management, and compliance requirements within K2 environments.
Proficiency in system monitoring and performance tuning, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues to ensure system reliability.
Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures for K2 environments, including disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into K2 solutions.
Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that meet business requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to stay updated on K2 platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.
Location: Fully (100%) Remote. CONUS ONLY. Must travel to on-site location in order to obtain government furnished equipment.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
