This Services Coordination Leader is responsible for the coordination and execution of all service offerings, and success of the service team for the Life Science Solutions Services business. A part of Trane Technologies, the Life Science Solutions Services team, including Diversified Laboratory Repair, Helmer Scientific, and FARRAR Scientific, is a full-service organization providing maintenance and repair services to all brands and types of laboratory equipment around the world. You will bring customer-centric thinking, strong services acumen, and business leadership to a growing service organization.
The focus of this role is to mentor, coach and lead multiple service coordination teams, and mold them into a cohesive, collaborative organization coordinating global services. A skilled leader, you will be able to effectively communicate our priorities to all stakeholders – including coordinators, technicians, team leads, area managers, regional leaders, customers, and senior leadership. You will be responsible for all aspects of service coordination and achievement of service KPIs, creating customers for life.

What you will do:
- Overall responsibility for all service coordination activities with internal and external customers, including customer service, quoting, dispatching, scheduling, invoicing, parts procurement, and inventory management.
- Develop infrastructure, resource plans, and competencies for a service coordination team to support scaling from a regional to a global services business.
- Hire, retain, develop, train, coach, lead, and motivate a diverse workforce for optimal results.
- Support achievement of target objectives for service KPIs including backlog, quotes, margin, retention, compliance, invoicing, cash flow, quality, and utilization.
- Coordination of all services offerings across all covered equipment types, including emergency repair, preventive maintenance, service agreements, turnkey projects, relocation services, rental services, validation services, and all future service offerings.
- Coordination of all services through internal self-perform teams and third-party, subcontracted service partners.
- Gain strong command of customer needs and market opportunities to position our solutions, and to provide input into the larger organization’s future roadmaps and plans.
- Regular travel required to meet with services teams.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in service coordination, preferably in a technical, cold storage or laboratory environment.
- Solid knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications and functions.
- Business acumen – ability to identify and activate levers to create business and customer value from technical services.
- Leadership – ability to attract, hire, retain, coach, motivate, and empower.
- Initiative – motivation to lead, influence, and coach positive change management to deliver business outcomes.
- Collaborative spirit – ability to work well with all levels of customer and internal organizations.
- Executive presence – ability to inspire confidence in colleagues and customers with excellent communication skills.
Compensation:
Total Target Compensation: $115,000 - $175,000 inclusive of base salary plus incentive
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
