Electrical Technicians- PC&C Start-up and Operations
KBR is seeking Precommissioning and Commissioning, Start-up and Operations (PC&CSO) Electrical Leading Technicians for a multi-billion USD dollar LNG Project.
The LNG Project comprises a 700MW Combine Cycle Power Plant, Pretreatment Units, Utility Packages, Storage Tanks and Jetty facilities that are all interconnected via more than 30 Electrical Substations with Voltages ranging from 138kV to 480V.
Education/Credentials:
- Qualifications to perform Electrical works as Tradesman on the State of Louisiana.
- Previous experience as Electrical Commissioning Technician on large (multi-billion dollar) Projects; preferable Oil & Gas and Power Plants.
- Over 5 Years of overall Electrical Commissioning Technician experience.
- NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) Certification/Training (or equivalent) is highly recommended.
- Valid TWIC Card.
The PC&CSO Electrical Technician:
- Troubleshoots Electrical Switchgears, Control Panels, UPS Systems, Trace Heating Systems and Lighting and Small Power Systems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Electrical Test Equipment and demonstrates ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.
- Demonstrates knowledge to Design Electrical Isolations for LV Systems.
- Performs Pre-Energization Electrical Checks on Electrical Equipment such as LV and MV Switchgear.
- Ensures that the ITRs (Inspection and Test Records) and the PC & CSO Electrical Procedures are filled and signed on a timely manner.
- Coordinates the uncouple runs of all the LV Motors.
- Maintains an up to date (as-builts) set of Schematics for his/her assigned Electrical Packages.
- Participates on Electrical CC/RFE and RFSU Walk-downs and provide on-tools support for clearance of small Punch List items.
- Reports to / takes direction from the PC&CSO Electrical Lead Technicians and Supervisors.
- Availability to work on Night Shift.
