ZERO TRUST COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALISTMILITARY FRIENDLY & PREFERRED - HOH SPONSORZermount Inc. is seeking a Zero Trust (ZT) Communications Specialist who will assist in providing communications support to one of our federal clients. The ZT Communications Specialist will be part of the implementation of ZT principles across the pillars of ZT (identity, device, network, application and workload, and data) to assist the client in meeting the requirements set forth by EO 14028 and OMB M 22-09. The ZT Communications Specialist will work alongside project managers, project coordinators, associate project managers, engineers, and management to use their communication experience in helping support our federal client with planning and managing Information Technology (IT) projects. The Communications Specialist will support complex planning, scheduling, and execution of the multifaceted Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that will modernize and advance the client's IT enterprise solutions. The ZT Communications Specialist will create, develop, produce, and consult on various internal and external communications materials and media. They will be expected to apply specific functional knowledge and working/general industry knowledge, to create or contribute solutions to multiple problems of moderate scope and complexity, as well as be responsible for the drafting and editing of a variety of communications materials and projects, including leadership communications, talking points, marketing copy, newsletter content, and website content. Duties & Responsibilities:The ZT Communications Specialist will ensure the Zermount ZT solutions and services for securing federal networks and meet the objectives of EO 14028 and other Federal requirements are effectively communicated to federal clients. Additionally, the ZT Communications Specialist will provide support and services to include:Provide the project manager with the support and information needed for decision making.Work with Engineering Leads and Managers to track and execute client deliverables.Responsible for reporting metrics associated with ZT adoption. Coordinate and contribute to stakeholder engagements. Support the management of relationships with all stakeholders supporting Zermount.Create, design, and write complex publication materials, employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for internal and external audiences. Assist with establishing editorial and departmental standards, as needed. Support all customer engagements including quarterly reviews and all performance debrief activities. Coordinate development of project deliverables and products. Assist with producing project status reports.Assist in the tracking of project tasks and action items.Document, track, and provide project lessons learned to all stakeholders.Prepare presentations and/or brief geared toward stakeholders.Create ZT focused information bulletins, storyboards, emails, publications, website content, articles, white papers, training materials, and other communications products related to ZT as directed. Qualifications:Experience in the preparation of briefs, updates, and maintenance of knowledge management portals (e.g. web pages and SharePoint). Ability to analyze, support, and document process improvements. Experience with NIST Special Publications and guidance. Knowledge of client communication channels and vehicles. Experience communicating effectively, both oral and written, with technical, non-technical, and executive-level customers.Knowledge of EO 14028, OMB M 22-09, Federal, DoD, and CISA Zero Trust Architecture, Maturity Model, and Technical Reference Architectures. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently (self-motivated) and as part of a team. Ability to navigate complex and politically sensitive client environments with professionalism, patience, and tact.Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and manage relationships with highly political clients while maintaining a professional demeanor, exhibiting patience, and navigating sensitive situations with tact.5+ years of technical writing experience in information technology or information security.5+ years of experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role.Experience with developing and presenting talking point and summaries for executive level correspondence.Experience with graphics and design software to ensure the use of professional images.Experience with developing 508 compliant content.Education:Minimum of a bachelor's degree in one of the following: Information Technology (IT), computer science, management, business administration, or a related field. Relevant years of experience may be used in substitution for situations where the candidate does not have a bachelor's degree in the required field. Certifications:The following certifications are preferred but not required:Project Management Professional (PMP)Security+Clearance level:Minimum of an active Secret Clearance. Work Location:Hybrid - Primarily Remote.Required onsite work at the client location in Springfield, VA and Zermount HQ in Arlington, VA., will be occasionally required.
