Job Overview & Responsibilities
- Plans and administers Launch Operations senior leader meetings, provides customer support for IT, badging, seating and parking for Integrated Operations. Procedure administrator and liaison between customer, range safety and ULA Operations Engineering.
- Provides administration of the Launch Operations Test Procedure development process. Using the On-line Rocket Build Inspection and Test System (ORBITS); develops and maintains product structure, workflows and approval cycles, and data integrity. Provides approval coordination and liaison support to internal and external customer users.
- Provides program management support to various functions throughout the organization.
- Plans and facilitates various meetings and working groups; develops, distributes, maintains, and provides presentation materials for numerous high level business rhythm meetings and readiness reviews.
- Provides point-of-contact for customer access to facilities and systems which include badging, safety and compliance training, IT systems and tools, and proprietary information.
- Supports Customer Program Office with ITAR and Third-Party Proprietary compliance and proper data protection, including foreign national exposure. Provides local Customer interface for effective communication and working relationship.
- Coordinates ULA and Customer Integrated Crew Exercises, WDR’s and Launch Day Seating and Parking for ULA Leadership and Customers to ensure proper protocol and communications are accurate to fulfill the operational requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- General understanding of launch operations processes and protocol
- Previous internship experience working IT applications (SharePoint, COGNOS, SAP, experience are all pluses)
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience working independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to plan work tasks
- Knowledge of Project Management concepts or tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance is required. US citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business from an accredited college or university. Ideally, major in one and minor in the other
- Basic understanding of business reports, invoice reconciliation, cost account practices and service contract language
- Basic understanding of scientific terminology, units of measure and conversion factors, trend analysis and basic software applications
- Communication skills (verbal and written; including presentations)
- Involvement and completion of class projects
- Ability to communicate status, progress, problems and solutions on daily basis to immediate supervisor and leadership
- Candidate must be self-motivated with demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and leadership skills on previous class projects
- Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Cape Canaveral only): $50,581.00 - $78,981.00
Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
