What does a successful Product Manager do?
The Product Manager oversees the development and implementation of Vision Next with a key domain expertise in Risk and Fraud Product Management. The role will lead a comprehensive risk and fraud strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, external vendors and our clients to stay ahead of emerging threats. Driving the end-to-end product development lifecycle for risk and fraud management solutions, working closely with various teams to design and deliver effective product solutions.
This is a key role leading a portfolio of modernizing capabilities building new and enhancing existing solutions to benefit our customers and the evolving market in which they operate. Our platform capabilities include financial payment and processing solutions serving an extensive customer landscape of thousands of financial institutions and millions of businesses worldwide.
What you will do:
- You will have the ability to be both strategic and operational, responsible for setting and evangelizing our risk and fraud product vision and you will play an instrumental part of a team that will help mobilise against that vision.
- Act as primary liaison partnering with cross functional teams and external vendors (Sales, Client Relations, Operations, Finance, Legal as well as Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Testing, Release, PMO etc) and the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and teams, making sure there’s buy-in from stakeholders on all major decisions and strategy and clear instructions and deliverables for our engineering teams.
- Hands on Agile framework development experience, SDLC, sprint management, customer stories/journeys, epics, wireframes, demos etc.
- Be a product subject matter expert for Risk and Fraud at Fiserv, driving scale and adoption of the product internationally, clearly communicates vision and goals of the product.
- Proactively identify gaps in the current product offering and leads the effort to develop solutions that drive business and customer value.
- Be passionate about payment industry, risk and fraud trends, standards and competitive offerings in the payments arena. Identifies opportunities for new value-added and differentiated features
- Commercially focused, leading client facing discussions, providing feedback, industry and market trends, learns from our customers, evaluates and applies in defining product.
- Work closely with external partners, vendors, and industry organizations to share insights and best practices.
What you will need to have:
- A domain expert & strong customer centric and commercial mindset with at least 10+ years’ experience in a product leadership role in Risk and Fraud Payments and e-commerce domain.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in Polish (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Deep understanding of fraud prevention technologies, risk detection methodologies, and data analytics and familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the payments industry.
- Experience in driving product strategy and go to market that enable excellent user experiences, especially with Risk and Fraud services for payment / financial systems.
- Strong communicator skills and the ability to effectively work cross-organizationally both business and technical stakeholders, including clients in a collaborative way.
- A self-motivated and results focused individual with the ability to take ownership for issues through to resolution.
- Commercially astute, experienced in building business cases, p&l for the product, pricing and responding to RFI/RFP’s.
- Ability to collaborate impactfully with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive fraud and risk management strategy aligned with business objectives and market needs.
What would be great to have:
- Master’s qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in an additional European language is advantageous.
