Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Solutions Marketing is responsible for developing – and then telling – a story to both internal and external audiences about product solutions that will help drive awareness and demand for it. This will lead to new customer acquisition along with maintenance /upgradation of current subscriber base based on Comcast’s business strategy. He/she acts as a glue between product development and sales enablement.
Responsible for developing and supporting customer-centric, data-driven strategies for new and existing Comcast Business solutions. He/ she supports the creation of solutions / product marketing strategy and develops value propositions in collaboration with Product Management. He/she then plays a major role in handing the core messaging off to the relevant stakeholders with guidance as to how it needs to go in front of prospects and customers. This is accomplished by tight collaboration and co-ordination with a variety of marketing execution resources (e.g., Demand Generation, Marketing Communications, Channel Marketing).

Core Responsibilities
- Play a key role in crafting value propositions for products/solutions in collaboration with Product Management. Builds positioning and develops messaging guidelines for marketing resources to execute. Helps answer the core question of what products in what combination as a solution we have to sell to solve a customer’s business problems and meet Comcast’s business objectives.
- Product evangelist playing an integral role in organizing product launches and supporting Go to Market Plans along with balancing conflicting priorities. Collaborate across Regional, Divisional and HQ Marketing Teams to initiate and develop programs that drive demand.
- Work with Product Management and key stakeholders in planning and executing releases of net-new and existing products and manage cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- Consults with Product Management and Sales to identify, define, size, and prioritize strategic opportunities.
- Gathers market intelligence to become an expert on market size, and competitive environment.
- Maps out the potential buying process for the product, including key roles that will participate in it.
- Develop the competitive comparison guide for use in positioning against like offerings from competitors.
- Partners with Content Marketing and Demand Generation to build relevant content for buyer roles to consume in a variety of formats, including white papers, brochures, social media, Web pages, online events. and more. Works with Advocacy team to develop a range of customer testimonials for internal/external use including written case studies.
- Provides guidance in the creation of sales enablement content (e.g. playbooks, battle cards, scripts, presentations, training modules and demos).
- Partners with Customer Experience and other relevant stakeholders to drive retention strategies.
- Supports quarterly and annual product marketing plans & prioritizing product/solution enhancements and new product introductions.
- Develops new ideas and communicates potential uses for analytics across the business.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Generally requires 7+ years related experience, specifically 3+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in market-facing role
- Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset, demonstrated success in developing and implementing customer-centric product marketing strategies – differentiating value propositions & positionings that drive business value
- Experience with research & insights, partnering with researchers including innovation work to inform near, medium, and long term planning
- Experienced background in Telecom and in particular Ethernet/Wavelength, Cybersecurity, Voice over IP, Managed Network Services and/or Video/TV Services
- Subject matter expertise in b2b technology.
