Reporting to the North American Director of Recruiting, the primary duties of the Regional Recruiting Director are to lead the recruitment efforts within the Southwest. This includes leading a team of recruiters, recruitment results and partnership with regional leadership.

More specific duties include:
- Operates a full recruitment desk with dedicated internal customers.
- Supervision and leadership and onboarding of Area, Senior, and Entry-Level recruiters.
- Partnership with the operational and business group leadership within the region to drive talent acquisition strategies and align recruitment resources to business needs.
- Routine in person meetings
- Monthly check-ins to provide recruitment metrics.
- Consistent prioritization of top roles within the region.
- Recruiter development, training, and mentoring. Serve as daily point of escalation for recruiter questions. Assurance that tools (OMS/JAX, LinkedIn, Zoom) are being maximized, sourcing strategies are being developed and results are obtained. Be an expert and evangelist for usage of the existing and future tools.
- Assess and balance recruiter workloads as needed within region and work with other Regional Recruiting Directors as well as the North American Director of Recruiting to establish and drive a culture of workshare.
- Partner with the business to drive effective university relationships with top universities in their region. This includes identification of university champions to drive the HDR brand with faculty, students, career centers and student organizations.
- Responsible for establishing a team atmosphere among recruitment team. Establishes coverage plans when recruiters are away. Conducts routine regional team catch-up meetings and one on ones with direct reports.
- Involvement with the selection of new recruiters.
- Ensure recruiting metrics, recruiting KPIs and quality assurance within their team are being met. (Time to fill, offers made, acceptance rates)
- Ongoing assessment and recommendations to enhance talent acquisition strategies (technology, staff, structure)
- Champion of diversity recruitment efforts. Partner with other dedicated diversity resources to drive hiring results.
- Conducts presentation to recruiters and hiring managers within their region regarding talent acquisition strategies and tactics. Must have the ability to develop and train on the topic of recruitment/talent.
- Ability to extract, analyze and act on data supporting talent acquisition strategies.
- Partner with HR in their specific region to meaningfully contribute to the entire employee lifecycle.
Requires
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive recruitment experience within the Region.
- Previous experience leading recruiters either as a supervisor or mentor.
- Expert level knowledge of recruitment technologies and strategies
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written and presentation)
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- AEC Industry experience
- Resides or willing to relocate to the defined Region.
