Within our Marketing Solutions business we are looking for an Account Director to join our team to help us realize our goal of empowering businesses to reach, engage and convert their professional audience to a scale.
As an
Account Director you will be responsible for developing and delivering sales strategies, driven by data and the strength of your experience, to bring LinkedIn’s digital marketing solutions to strategic and high potential customers. By being their trusted advisor, you will help our clients realize their growth plans by connecting them to ever-expanding opportunities among our members.
Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with high potential LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) customers, working closely with C-levels, top executives, and decision-makers.
- Lead as a rigorous business manager, who maps out and executes commercial opportunities for a portfolio of clients (build a 3–12-month plan).
- Identify new business opportunities and new buying groups within the book of business of existing customers for LMS offering.
- Ability to identify and activate new logos qualified for the new and emerging business segment scope.
- Lead with insights through smart client research, industry-specific information, and trends.
- Working closely with your Client Solutions Manager, to deliver a consultative sales approach for each client that meets their marketing objectives.
- Create and manage a tiered service approach for your clients to deliver growth in your book.
- Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall team goals.
- Contribute to client events - Travel may be required up to 20%.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in client-facing roles with internal or external stakeholder relationship management experience.
- 3+ years of work experience in digital media sales or a closely related function.
- Business Fluency in English and German.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in or with the DACH Market.
- Experience working with fast growth tech companies.
- Experience of thriving in a target-driven and sales quota-carrying environment.
- Experience of portfolio management.
- Ability to drive results and collaborate with major customers, creating relationships across many levels of a client.
- Experience of using insights to identify and drive commercial growth and success.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Understanding/passion for internet advertising technology and marketing automation.
