THE WORKAs a key member of the Land Training Development team, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to grow our UK and Europe business pipeline and capture new opportunities within the Land Training Market Segment. Your role will involve securing our core programs while expanding into new mission areas. You'll will develop new opportunities through FMS and DCS, Industrial Development and Offsets. You will also lead trade show participation, support the integration of RMS lines of business, and contribute to the development of long-range strategies. Your responsibilities will also include meeting orders targets within your market segment and fostering effective customer relationships, both externally and within Lockheed Martin.

Basic Qualifications:-5-10 years Business Development experience
-Demonstrated experience of successful development of customer intimacy through relationships
-Experience on new business efforts including customer engagements, opportunity qualification, proposals, campaigns, and strategy planning.
-Cross functional team experience on programs and/or proposals
-Strong communication skills, both written and spoken with emphasis on the Microsoft Office suite.
-High degree of flexibility and ability to travel worldwide
-Knowledge of potential international customers and demonstrated customer relations skills.
-Ability to understand and interpret international customer needs and requirements and relate them back to pragmatic processes
-Awareness of the DoD budgeting and acquisition process and ability to relate them to FMS programs.
Desired Skills:-Proven track record of winning business in the NATO (including UK) geographical footprint.
-Proven track record of successful use of FMS/DCS/Offsets and Industrial Development
-Understanding of the geopolitical factors of the UK/Europe
-Familiarity with the TLS product lines
-Experience on defense acquisitions from industry and/or customer perspective
-Working technical and domain knowledge of Military Land Forces Training
-Former Army experience and/or Advanced Military Training

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
