Description:Lockheed Martin’s SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a Electronics Maintenance Technician to join the SOF GLSS team in Lexington, KY. The candidate will perform classified duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Electronics Maintenance Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks
• Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks
• Replace components, wire circuits, and repair simple electronic equipment
• Take test readings using common instruments such as:
• Digital multi-meters
• Signal generators
• Semiconductor testers
• Curve tracers
• Oscilloscopes
• Work Environment:
• Work under close supervision
• Receive technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician
• Work is checked frequently for accuracy
• Requirements:
• Basic technical knowledge of electronics and circuitry
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Familiarity with common electronic instruments and testing equipment
• Ability to work under close supervision and receive technical guidance.

Basic Qualifications:Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted based on the typical minimums required for this job which are:
3 years of related experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, and power tools. and applicable test equipment.
Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
Desired Skills:Soldering experience.
Prior harness fabrication experience.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
Experience operating and maintaining wire marking systems.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
