We are the world’s top supplier of automotive test facilities, providing a full range of services to commercial automotive industry customers. Customers include not only the world’s major vehicle providers and other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), but also clients from the international motor sports community.
- Develop and implement test plans including report writing for validation Body / Chassis components, systems and full vehicles.
- Design, review and update operational test procedures to ensure maximum facility and operational efficiencies.
- Develop and implement new test procedures that are correlated to real world customer usage.
- Ensure that all facilities and test equipment are properly maintained to conduct high quality testing.
- Verify quality of test data by applying statistical methods.
- Work with D&R Engineers to develop test plans to maximize the utilization of prototype components, bucks and vehicles.
- Develop and implement maintenance and calibration procedures to ensure all test equipment is functioning properly.
- Perform basic test automation functions such as test automation setup and execution.
- Lead in the development of new equipment specifications to ensure that any new equipment meets all testing requirements.
- Collaborate with design engineers to continuously improve custom machinery/process equipment for reliability & uptime to ensure continuous improvement in the facilities department.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Strong MS Office suite and computer skills, including fundamentals around application of Excel-VB macro development
- Excellent leadership, communications and interpersonal skills; Ability to function as part of a team and work cooperatively toward team goals
- Qualified candidates will work well under pressure, demonstrate excellent problem solving and creativity, and be able to quickly evaluate new information and make appropriate decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in a Body/Chassis Testing environment.
- Working knowledge of servo hydraulic systems, supporting facilities equipment (fixed and mobile), control software fundamentals and data acquisition including RPC Pro Simulation Software and Multi-Axis Testing.
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrometric test equipment and controllers including Ford designed control carts, Body closure KLTs and Seat Robots.
- Applied understanding of Measurement Uncertainty, Equipment Calibration, Data Acquisition, Control Systems Fundamentals, SPC, QOS, FMEA, G8D and 6-Sigma skill set or certification.
- Leadership on one or more projects ($100k minimum)
- Ability to develop & deliver business cases and presentations, project documentation to be delivered to upper management

Criticality of Attendance
- Overtime, regular days, off days: Monday through Friday.
- Shift, 1st, 2nd, 3rd: Afternoon shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm but shift assignment is subject to change, so candidate must be flexible with available work hours. Possibility of moving to a day shift for several months at a time.

- Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary. Must have flexibility of work afternoons to cover weekend testing requirements.
Other Essential Functions
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, health performance evaluation, PHMV exam and background check.
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to self or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Dependable personal transportation to work site is required.
