Job Description
Summer 2025 Internship Program:

- Program Dates: June 2 – August 8, 2025
- Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.
- Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Miami, FL.

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises is a world-class media company leading the industry in the production and distribution of high-quality Spanish-language content to U.S. Hispanics and audiences around the world.
Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
Project Management
Within the Project Management team of Telemundo, work closely with Technical Project Managers to deliver end to end projects for Telemundo Operations & Technology. Projects anticipated for the intern to be involved in:
- Generate reports and analyze data for internal planning processes and reporting purposes and provide basic business data interpretation, such as identifying trends or patterns of data sets.
- Productivity studies of possible AI tools that could apply to PPS scope.
- Identify areas of process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of service to our clients. Work with other teams to document tools and processes and improve production workflows and efficiency.
- Support for the planning coverage for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Production Management
Production Management supports the creative and production teams behind our Entertainment Daily Shows and Primetime Specials, managing critical aspects such as compliance, scheduling, budget management, crew coordination, and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This intern will:
- Assist the Director of Production Management in collaboration with Production and Creative teams, gaining hands-on experience in creating and executing production schedules, setting key milestones, and tracking deliverables for assigned shows and specials.
- Help develop production budgets, schedules, and milestones from the ground up for in-house productions, learning the foundational elements of financial and logistical planning in TV production.
- Work with the Compliance Production Manager to ensure that all productions adhere to EHS/OSHA regulations and NBCU standards and protocols, contributing to a safe and compliant production environment.
- Create and maintain trackers to monitor the status of legal documentation required for productions, including Certificates of Insurance and location agreements, reporting updates regularly to the supervisor.
- Learn to coordinate the workflow and maintain communication with the Network team concerning production deliverables, providing timely updates to the supervisor.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025). May 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2025 Internship Program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to work in Miami, FL.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Desired Characteristics:
- Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Prior experience tracking and organizing multiple projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- Basic Understanding of Project Management software such as Microsoft Projects, Smartsheet, Monday or similar.
The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.50.
The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $25.00.
