The International Account Solutions team in Phoenix, Arizona, is a team within Operational Services Account Solutions servicing clients around the world. International Account Solutions provides operations and customer service support to international clients and internal partners to help grow and service our existing client base. As an elite team of experts, we are committed to delivering efficient solutions that enhance trust while minimizing risk by owning every client interaction through clients’ eyes.
This role will require expertise in the new account opening process for both Retail and Institutional clients. Demonstrated customer service skills and proven problem resolution skills. Candidates must have the ability to identify and control risk exposure to Schwab and our clients and be able to work cohesively in a team environment while accurately and efficiently assisting clients and internal partners. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible and have the ability to multi- task and embrace change.
What you have
What you have:
- Financial industry experience and or international experience preferred
- Experience handling multiple software applications simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with investment advisors preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Customer service skills and experience working with regulatory or risk issues
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple processes.
- Effective analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Series 7, 63 preferred
Required:
- 2+ years’ experience in client service or operations
- Intermediate technical skills, with the ability to use multiple applications and systems simultaneously and efficiently, including Windows, internet research, database systems, and email.
- Engaging communication and interpersonal skills.
- Due to nature of risk with responsibilities, attention to detail and accuracy are required.
Preferred:
- Experience in with brokerage/financial industry preferred.
- Desire to obtain Series 7/63/9/10 licenses.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Passion for service and the desire to help people.
