Associate Manager of Sales/Distributor Compensation Administration to support the design, implementation, and administration of our distribution partner sales compensation plans.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is Fully Virtual. While this position may not require your on-site presence on a regular basis, depending on business preferences, there may be occasions where you are required to be on-site at a Prudential office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Compensation Design: Assist in the design and implementation of sales compensation plans that drive performance and align with organizational goals. Collaborate with team members to evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation programs.
- Administration and Reporting: Assist in the administration of sales compensation programs, including commission calculations, incentive bonus payments, and adjustments. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of compensation-related metrics and analytics to key distributors.
- Data Analysis: Assist in identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for process improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for Comp Operations personnel, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Process Improvement/Controls: Assist in the Identification and implementation of control procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales compensation process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, create controls, and resolve issues that surface during the normal course of business.
- Policy Development: Support the development and communication of sales compensation policies and guidelines to ensure clarity and consistency across the organization. Provide information to sales teams regarding compensation plans and processes. Compliance and Audit: Work with Manager to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to sales compensation. Assist in internal audits and support the resolution of any identified issues.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Assist Sales Relationship managers in the resolution of compensation-related inquiries. Collaborate with the Product team, finance team, and sales operations regarding new products and compensation features.
What you’ll need:
- Four Year degree (mathematics, finance, computer science) preferred or equivalent military or life experience.
- Excel skills to include modeling, formulas, and data parsing functions.
- Proven financial / data analytics with extreme attention to detail.
- A high degree of professionalism and strong work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Discretion required in handling highly sensitive and confidential information in a respectful and confidential manner.
- Ability to interpret documented plans into repeatable, auditable, controllable processes.
- Project Management experience.
It’d be a plus if you had:
- An understanding of the Individual Life Insurance business.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, good judgement, and the ability to multi-task.
- Work collaboratively and with various levels in the organization.
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, work under tight time constraints, and be able to prioritize work.
- Solid partnering skills and team player a must.
- Willingness and/or desire to learn Tableau Business Intelligence and Analytic Software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills to deliver quality support to partners.

The salary range for this role is from $90,100.00 to $134,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
