The Role
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Analyst, Guest Merchandising to support the evolution of our email marketing program by building personalized, dynamic email marketing campaigns for our guests, driving impactful business results for portfolio of iconic brands and the award-winning Wyndham Rewards loyalty program. The ideal candidate is a collaborative & curious individual who pursues excellence in their work, proactively finds new ways to add value to the business, and is a transparent, clear communicator.
This role is instrumental in evolving the email marketing program in close partnership with Creative Services, Guest Intelligence & Engagement, global marketing teams, and agency partners. They will serve as the lead email builder in a no-code email creation platform, become proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and support the Senior Manager, Guest Merchandising in project management tasks like resource alignment & timeline management. They will also work closely with peers across the organization to support adoption of email production tools to drive maximum value.
What you'll do
- Support the onboarding and integration of no-code email builder platform into our current system.
- Develop proficiency building emails in the no-code email builder platform.
- End-to-end production and execution of email communications.
- Support the SMS and Mobile Push communications, .
- Regularly work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders including agency partners, Loyalty, Creative Services, and Legal teams.
- Support the full production process for communications from establishing timelines to uploading creative assets, coordinating stakeholder validation (including reinforcing timelines and deliverables), QA, sign off, and deployment.
- Provide competitive patterning performance learnings to the Senior Manager, Digital Operations to inform strategy and channel innovation.
- Effectively communicate across and upwards in the organization to define expectations and ensure deadlines for deliverables are met.
- Commit to training to develop proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud activities.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, focusing on topics relevant to customer loyalty and engagement, technology, and the hospitality industry.

Functional Competences
- Expertise in email & SMS production and operations.
- Understanding of email & SMS deployment and creation standards/best practices required, Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Prior experience in Email Production Operations and/or Digital/Brand Marketing for a hospitality, retail, or other B2C industry.
- Understanding of email production and deployment standards/best practices required, Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus.
- Familiarity with pulling and interpreting data to make business decisions using analytics and segmentation tools such as Adobe Analytics.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
