Description:Controls the flow of parts, materials, and paperwork in an assigned production area to insure the scheduled completion of fabrication or assembly orders; makes required contacts with Tool Planning, Materiel Control and other departments to effect workable order status, procuring blueprints and change documents, following up tooling and materials required for fabrication of parts or assemblies, where it is required to exercise a knowledge of operations, methods and processes in specific control station and/or section to which assigned, of paperwork forms, and of methods of controlling the flow of paperwork and parts; examines orders entering assigned section or area to determine machines and/or work stations capable of producing parts and assemblies, and assigns priorities in accordance with scheduling and production requirements; re-sequences jobs as required in accordance with priority information furnished by authorized personnel, sending materials and/or semi-finished parts to "hold-rack" to await release of planning, engineering, or tooling information as required; makes diversified contacts with Planning, Inspection, Time Standards, and other production control personnel to obtain required authorization to eliminate production delays.
PERFORMS SUCH RELATED DUTIES AS:
Procures necessary blueprints, change notices, tooling, materials, etc., to assure workability of orders and effective use of facilities in an assigned area.
Requests transportation or handling equipment to transport materials to and from shop areas; loads, unloads, and moves materials as required within the area serviced, and in critical cases, moves materials to and from other sections.
Advises affected personnel concerning estimated completion dates for fabricated or assembled items.
Ability to obtain and maintain Company licenses, certifications, and training as required for assigned tasks by the Company and governmental agencies.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of entry level blueprint and technical data comprehension.
One year experience in material handling.
Desired Skills:
Experience with SFM
Experience with tracking Inventory
Experience in warehouse setting
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in California is $22.46 - $34.65.
