Title:
P-card Assistant - Senior Accountant Purchasing Card
Duties:
The Senior Accountant – Purchasing Card will support our Card Program Administrator and auditing functions to align with our program priorities, goals, and related activities. This position includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
- Access P-card system to identify missing required data for maintaining accurate records
- Communicate with cardholders and managers to obtain any missing data based on the P-Card Procedure requirements
- Gather missing data and input into appropriate systems
- Identify terminated employees for card programs to support cancellation of the accounts
- Review monthly termination reports to ensure proper and timely cancellation of card accounts
- General understanding of the KBR P-Card Procedure
- Work under general supervision and adhere to established procedures for routine tasks
- Other responsibilities as needed and assigned

- Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Ability to reason and apply both rules and general guidelines to various situations

Education:
- Associate’s degree in business, accounting or related field, or equivalent applicable work experience
- At least five years of general business experience
