Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a full time Early Career DevOps Systems Engineer. In this role, you will perform analysis, design, integration and test on mission critical software. You will be developing requirements using SysML diagrams and constructs. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the Linux Operating System, System Modeling and troubleshooting product and system level issues.
Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems or equivalent major.
- Understanding of systems analysis, design, requirements development, integration and test of Linux/unix based real-time common middleware and/or fault detection/fault isolation services.
- Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of formal system test methods associated with software requirements verification, software system regression and performance analysis.
- Ability to identify and isolate system defects during integration and test activities. It is expected that the candidate has experience with the use of test diagnostics tools, such as debuggers, message injectors, hardware and network analyzers and simulators.

Desired Skills:
Ability to develop test scripts (bash, csh, perl) and software test drivers (Python and Java) to exercise test procedures on multiple Linux/Unix-based platforms.
- Ability to effectively construct verification, regression and performance analysis test plans and procedures.
- Ability to define and document system structural and behavioral analysis models necessary for the definition of software requirements specifications and verification test threads (regression).
- Ability to decompose, define and document system performance and software requirements
- Ability to conduct product selection and design trade studies that evaluate stakeholder needs against product/design alternatives.
- Ability to prepare briefings and technical reports. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication.
- Experience with Agile systems development and/or DevOps. Familiarity with continuous integration frameworks such as Jenkins is preferred.
- Experience with IBM DOORS requirements management preferred.
- Experience with SysML/UML and IBM Rhapsody preferred.
- Experience with data management, analytics or prognostics is preferred.
- Ability to review detailed software designs and developed source code. Java experience preferred

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
