Description:Lockheed Martin’s SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a Plumber for an international assignment to join the SOF GLSS team. The candidate will perform classified duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Plumber your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Service customers' water/drainage systems on the job site
• Order materials, tools, and instruments
• Prepare reports and maintain records on equipment and preventive maintenance
• Complete required paperwork timely and accurately
• Troubleshoot failures both in service center and on customer locations
• Install, maintain, and repair electronic devices related to plumbing systems
• Practice and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA and other required regulations
• Ensure equipment operates in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
• Service water softener and check for proper operation of hot water and steam boilers
• Service systems, entire building
• Service all building components
• Operate a forklift and aerial lift in an efficient manner
• Read diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's specifications to accomplish assigned tasks
• Read directions and labels of chemicals, as well as work requests and requirements
• Maintain confidentiality

Basic Qualifications:Successful completion of an apprenticeship with a qualified plumber
Proven experience working as a plumber in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and equipment
Working knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work
Exceptional customer service and client focus
Desired Skills:Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Familiar with plumbing tools and equipment
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Valid plumbing license to practice the profession
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
