The Lowe's Pro Supply, Director of Marketing, reporting to the Sr. Director, is a key leadership role responsible for delivering modern, date-driven strategic acquisition and retention strategies to attract new customers and engage existing customers through omni-channel strategy and tactics, while building brand awareness.
This Director will be closely aligned with critical functional business partners to fully realize (from curation to execute) the go-to-market initiatives across the marketing calendar that will drive brand engagement and achieve the company’s overall business KPIs.
The Director will act as the subject matter expert on MRO customer segments and provide on-going strategic thought leadership on acquisition and retention strategies, channels of engagement and personalization levers. This role will be oriented to an interactive approach, with high accountability for results through leading a team of talented and engaged marketing professionals. It will also be responsible for developing officer level content on a regular basis for total enterprise updates on progress, challenges, and future opportunities.
- Guides the prioritization of continuous marketing across MRO, in alignment with the enterprise vision, to drive incremental sales and margin for customer subsegments using data enabled, omni-channel journeys
- Delivers the total annual enterprise revenue and margin targets associated with customer marketing and personalization to the VP
- Creates promotional strategies, based on strong understanding of customer value, economics and competitive actions and execute across channels.
- Works cross-functionally to identify opportunities to leverage the broader Lowe’s marketing programs/campaigns, therefore building additional capabilities to support Lowe’s Pro Supply
- Understands the customer needs / opportunities in specific segment(s) and sets the audience targets and priorities used by the entire enterprise to grow market share across unique and ownable customer journeys
- Develops and activates the annual marketing calendar to drive sales and build the brand in partnership with Merchandising, Operations, and Sales.
- Develops and implements results-oriented plans for the customer marketing organization by continuously analyzing data, identifying trends, and championing continuous improvement opportunities; works with key partners to execute the vision of utilizing data to drive key results across customer marketing
- Applies understanding of modern marketing solutions (e.g., data-enabled personalization) and channels during campaign planning
- Leads and motivates across challenging or new bodies of work with success in working across ambiguity and defining clarity along the way
- Leverages customer data to deliver sales and margin growth targets and customer lifetime value
- Analyze, monitor and report on the impact of programs against goals and objectives both quarterly and annually.
- Establishes strong working relationships with the management team, providing a strategic voice, working effectively and transparently in a partner-like fashion
- Creates a climate of engagement and productivity by empowering others and encouraging them to contribute ideas and make decisions; Identifies developmental needs of others on the team and coaches them to improve their knowledge or skills
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or similar with 5+ years of brand or integrated marketing leadership experience for consumer brands or retail; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 3+ years strong business acument and analytic skills and extensive experience using consumer insights to define and build brand experiences
- 5+ years strong leadership, influencing and highly cross functional collaboration skills
- 5+ years experience leading brand marketing teams
- 5+ years category management or product marketing experience

Pay Range: $109,800.00 - $183,000.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
