The Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) is hiring for a Configuration Manager, located in Bruxelles, Belgium, directly supporting our NATO customer to deliver enhanced Air Command and Control (eAirC2) capabilities for a Configuration Manager, located in Bruxelles, Belgium, directly supporting our NATO customer to deliver enhanced Air Command and Control (eAirC2) capabilities for a Systems Engineering program. The selected candidate will provide management of all assets used by an independent Programme Office to deliver global command and control capabilities. The program offices will be located within the NATO HQ facilities with assets distributed across land, sea, and space. If you like a challenging and ever evolving work environment, you just found it. What you’ll be doing:
- Optimization of configuration management methodology, process, and tools.
- Thought leadership and group discussion on configuration management practices.
- Monitor systems, software, and hardware configurations using a combination of functional and physical audits, CM toolsets, and data analysis from the programs underlying data model.
- Document and control deployment of component software application baselines along with their associated interface definition, design, and configuration controls.
- Ensure test plans match test configuration as part of the test planning process.
- Drive internal support for continuous R&D, innovation, and technology insertion to improve configuration management capabilities.
- Coordinate the resolution of cross-discipline action items raised in miscellaneous boards and reviews.
- As part of the configuration management ensure control over all products and deliverables produced throughout the system engineering lifecycle.
- Oversee version control and updates of data, documentation, and reports as required to ensure they meet the needs of the Programme accurately.
- Continuously engage with engineers to ensure the underlying data model is fully aligned with configuration controls, produces notifications of all changes, and conforms to standards adopted by the program office.
- Manage all changes across the entire lifecycle as chair or as co-chair of change board(s) and provide all governance functions as required.
- Establish measurable and meaningful metrics to track and report trends over time.
- Maintain all baselines and coordinate and track procurement of all new assets.
- Stakeholder management and user engagement.
What does Leidos need from me?
- U.S. Secret security clearance required. You will then obtain Access to NATO Secret (National Clearance Equivalent) which can take less than an hour.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with two to four years of configuration management experience; or a master’s degree with less than two years’ experience.
- Relevant certification by an international body such as CM2 CMII, ITLL 4, etc.
- Advanced coordination and communication skills and the ability to liaise between all member of the program and within the stakeholder community to provide training and guidance as necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills sufficient for effective communications of complex topics with senior level leaders across the NATO community.
- Advanced soft skills and emotional intelligence to deal with high complexity, political influence, and a multi-cultural work environment.
- Leadership traits developed in an international work environment, self-motivation, and an orientation towards results through the relentless pursuit of continuous improvement.
- Have experience with typical configuration management tools such as version control systems, configuration management databases, change management tools, document management systems, software distribution tools, etc. Tools may vary or change depending on organizational input.
- Experience managing engineering products across all areas of the software development life cycle from user engagement and need through validation and retirement.
- A mature and compelling vision, along with an in-depth understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts, for how to deliver cutting edge system-of-systems capability development for advanced command and control of a globally deployed and federated asset base.
Favorable if you have:
- Any experience in Agile development environments to include continuous integration/continuous delivery environments
- Any experience with Scripting and Programming Languages.
- Certification in adjacent areas such as Confluence, JIRA, Splunk, Git, ServiceNow, etc.
- Process optimization and automation experience.
- Any data analysis experience.
- C2 domain knowledge in the aerospace defense sector.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
