Job Summary
Comcast Spectacor seeks a dedicated and reliable Executive Assistant (EA) to support its legal department. The EA will be responsible for providing a broad range of professional and administrative services to the legal department’s attorneys and staff.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Tracks and maintains files and assists in preparation and filing of reports on behalf of the legal team.
- Organizes, maintains, tracks and handles incoming and outgoing legal correspondence.
- Distributes and coordinates interdepartmental correspondence. Performs verification and routine analysis of all legal correspondence.
- Types, edits and proofs legal documents.
- Provides guidance with Company's legal submission process.
- Screens telephone calls, visitors and letters; answers routine questions and furnishes information.
- Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of internal meetings and presentations; gathers and prepares necessary materials and/or equipment.
- Assures the maintenance of travel and expense account and records, including form preparation and figure reconciliation.
- Displays a strong knowledge of desktop tools such as the Microsoft Suite of Office products and electronic mail systems.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Interested candidates must have experience supporting attorneys, either at a law firm or an in-house legal department.
- Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to exercise sound judgment to make decisions and prioritize tasks.
