Join Lockheed Martin’s C-130 Manufacturing Engineering team and be part of a legacy in aviation excellence. As a Tool Engineer, you will play an essential role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative tooling solutions to support the manufacturing of the C-130 and other Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) programs. Here, your engineering skills and creativity will directly impact mission success, setting the stage for program growth and sustained manufacturing quality.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Tool Engineer supporting C-130 Manufacturing, you will:
• Design, develop, and implement industrial machinery and equipment, including tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures to meet production and experimental needs.
• Collaborate with team members to create CAD/CAM tool designs that consider accessibility, efficiency, and performance.
• Serve as the technical lead, overseeing tool engineering projects and ensuring alignment with AMMM and related program requirements.
• Develop and apply new techniques to enhance tooling capabilities and meet evolving customer needs.
• Verify and approve concepts and designs created by team members and vendor partners, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
