Description:Quality Engineering ManagerLocation: Greenville SCWhat You Will Be DoingThe role is responsible for ensuring quality is embedded in the Sustainment and Production life cycles, from contract review to product delivery. The inherent duties include process overview/improvements within Production and Sustainment build areas; support of inspection methodologies development; review and approval of quality assurance plans; enablement of quality sciences tool/methods employment; assessment of root cause/corrective (RCCA) action execution and effectiveness; support of business reviews; and reporting of quality health to key leadership stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities-Performs Quality Engineering (QE) leadership activities supporting Greenville Site Operations (GSO) Sustainment and Production. The core responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Develop, monitor, and sustain tactical execution plans in alignment with Quality and Mission Success (Q&MS) and program strategic plans
- Report quality health status and key action plan initiatives to program executive/senior leadership within prescribed business tempos
- Employ sounds quality sciences methodologies within various layers of the business to address risk, minimize variation, and enable continuous improvement activities
- Oversee status and process discipline of Integrated Corrective Action (ICA) team standard activities in collaboration with key stakeholder functional leadership
- Routinely establish priorities of work with QE Build Area Leads; monitor execution and status
- Liaison with customer representatives to ensure satisfactory customer satisfaction levels

- Advanced understanding of Quality principles/methodologies in Aerospace industry.
Desired Skills:- Previous leadership or technical experience in Quality Engineering discipline
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
- Advanced understanding of AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management System requirements
- Advanced knowledge of RCCA tools/methodologies
- Experience with tooling coordinated manufacturing

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
