As a Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP solutions for clients. Working closely with the Helpdesk Support Manager you will ensure timely and accurate helpdesk support. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their business requirements, configuring the system to meet those needs, and providing ongoing support and training. You will work with the Helpdesk Manager with a problem-solving approach to ensure high-quality technical support and enhance client satisfaction using the Dynamics 365 Customer Service module. This role requires an in-depth, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft GP solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Helpdesk Support Team, ensuring timely and accurate customer service support
- Contribute to improving customer support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints
- Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics GP to align with client requirements.
- Provide training to end-users on Microsoft Dynamics GP functionality and assist with their GP queries.
- Create training materials and documentation for clients.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Follow best practice through the entire technical support process.
- Assist clients in upgrading to newer versions of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Plan and execute data migrations when necessary.
- Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics GP updates and patches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in working within technical support and customer service
- Proven experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
