Job Overview & Responsibilities
- This position is part of the Property Management team for the CCSFS location. Position requires interface with site management and personnel in the execution of compliant life-cycle Property Management processes.
- Responsible for operations related to Government and/or Company owned Property Administration.
- Administer Property in areas of acquisition, receiving, records, storage and movement, consumption, utilization, maintenance, physical inventories, and disposition in accordance with FAR.
- Supports the monthly property metrics and ensures that inventories and utilization reviews are performed timely and accurately.
- Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
- Support of property audits.
- Provides guidance to custodians on company policy and government regulation pertaining to property accountability.
- Prepares periodic and special purpose reports.
Required Education
High School/GED
Required Years of Experience
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
Basic Qualifications
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills ability to work with property team and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work effectively with management, peers and customers is required.
- Effective oral and written communications skills are required.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize the property database system.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills are required to include MS office applications including Excel and general proficiency with business applications is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Equipment Management, Inventory is desired.
- Familiarity with Government Property and logistics of accountability is desired.
- Experience in Aerospace Equipment is a plus.
