This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented candidate to join our team supporting a government client in Maryland. The Program Management office provides daily program management and oversight for all tasks and requirements associated with this contract. The Deputy Program Manager shall assist the program manager in ensuring that all services are delivered and all tasks are performed within established program guidelines and budgets
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a backup point of contact for the Government Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) and the Contracting Officer (CO).
- Assisting in the planning, directing, and scheduling the timely and successful accomplishment of the effort described in the SOW.
- Review all items to be delivered under this contract.
Handle onboarding and orientation of Contractor team.
Provides management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, personnel evaluation, and support.
Assist with the preparation of all contract deliverables.
Assist in the technical leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary staff
Prepares Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, and other technical documentation
Able to supervise, manage, support, and evaluate personnel
Qualifications:
Required:
- A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with Polygraph
- Three (3) or more years of relevant deputy or PM experience
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience with the IC or DoD
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business-related discipline
Desired:
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or its DoD equivalent
- National Security policy, IC budget and finance experience
- Experience in senior/executive leadership communications and decision management
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
Basic Compensation:
$106,700 - $160,000
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
