Summary: Under the direction of the Panels Supervisor, the Panel assembler will work with various functions throughout the business to assemble panels. This will prepping, wiring, and final assembly. Responsibilities: - Read, use and understand electrical/ mechanical schematic drawings.
- Responsible for producing high quality electrical products.
- Fits, files, drills, and assembles junction boxes, panels, or performs a wide variety of diversified and difficult electrical assemblies.
- Assembles, in predetermined order, electrical components, terminals and push buttons.
- Cuts, strips, and mounts wires to connect electrical units.
- Closing job orders daily for assigned value stream
Minimum required qualifications: - Two years minimum manufacturing experience.
- Ability to perform basic math including use of calculators.
The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities: - Experience with using a computer and or ability to learn basic usage of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
- Experience wiring electrical panels, instrumentation and devices and point-to-point testing.
- Ability to work from detailed schematics, wire lists, bill of materials, engineering drawings and documentation.
