Overview
The Collections Senior Manager is a key member of the Enterprise Service Center (ESC) Order to Cash/Quote to Cash Team. The Collections Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the Collections Team business process design and continuous improvement as the central party to connect end to end process elements and people together.
This role will serve in the following primary functions:
- Reimagine, monitor, and create (if necessary) collection strategies in Oracle
- Ensure adoption of transformed processes and technology through change strategies and deployment methods
- Mentor and coach the Collections team with a focus on up-skilling staff at all levels.
- Collaborate with the Billing Account Support Services (BASS) Team, Billing, and when required, Operations and FP&A
- Provide exceptional customer service skills
- Monitor relevant KPI’s for the Collections process and develop action plans to constantly improve them
- Actively participate in process improvement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with valued internal stakeholders as well as clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field is required.
- 7-10 years of experience in Collections is required.
- Ability to seek out and design processes based on strategic objectives, breaking elements down into manageable components
- Experience in a shared services environment is preferred.
- 5 or more experience with SOX compliance is required.
- Knowledge of ASC 606 is preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systems
- Six Sigma is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
