Overview
ABM is hiring a Project Coordinator, MSP, and Contract Labor to lead the management of S&E vendors to identify and engage suppliers, negotiate rates, and manage the MSA process. This person will be the primary point of contact for vendors supporting Sports and entertainment through the Vendor Management System, JoinedUp.
This role will monitor and audit weekly open requisitions for temp labor to ensure positions are filled and appropriate, qualified vendors are engaged. They will also act as a SME to provide support to ABM leaders in navigating the JoinedUp platform. Responsible for driving cost-saving strategies by leveraging vendors with competitive rates.
This is a Hybrid Work Arrangement (in-office Tue/Wed/Thu)!
MSP
- Act as ABM liaison to support MSP (JoinedUp) success
- Act as the escalation point for ABM hiring managers with questions about requesting temporary worker support
- Collect labor and cost requirements and communicate to staffing vendors
- SME of Vendor Management System SME (VMS –JoinedUp)
- Adhoc reporting to executive leaders on temporary workforce metrics/trends
- Review / Audit Open Orders to identify trouble sites and to influence temp req distribution to vendors
- Monitor and record ABM temp conversions and prevent duplicate billing to ABM
- Conduct weekly audits of invoicing to identify rate errors and ensure ABM is not overcharged
- Act as liaison between Guidant Global AP and suppliers regarding unpaid invoices, payment terms, etc.
- Identify cost-saving initiatives within the MSP
- Ensure requisitions are being closed to ensure accurate needs are communicated to vendors
Third-Party Recruiting Vendor Management
- Communicate with the agencies the needs of temporary employees for site managers as needed
- Drive compliance with negotiated rates/terms with suppliers
- Suggest out-of-the-box recruiting strategies to temp suppliers to increase applicant flow by agencies
- Ensure screening processes are communicated and staffing partners are compliant
- Audit Screening requirements on open orders –Drug Screen, Background Checks, Fingerprinting, Badging
- Alert hiring manager as temporary workers become eligible for conversion to drive cost savings
- Engage the appropriate TA contacts at critical sites to ensure we are proactive in our approach to convert temps to ABM
- Identify suppliers outside of the ABM MSP and drive compliance with contracts, insurance, rates, screening, etc.
- Act as liaison between ABM legal and Operations if there is potential for co-employment risk
Qualifications – Education & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required but related experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement
Experience:
- 1-3 years experience with vendor partnerships and vendor management
- Effective communication skills to influence, support, and manage relationships internally and externally
- An understanding of temporary labor market and contingent labor wage trends
- Ability to influence suppliers and support hiring managers
- Ability to recognize workforce trends that impact operations and profitability and to offer alternate strategies
- Understanding of recruitment processes and systems
- Experience working with HR data and reports, including analyzing vendor performance and temp pipeline data not required but preferred
Qualifications – Other Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
Professional Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and various applications with advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, and survey tools such as Survey Monkey.
- Must possess excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as public speaking capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to the ABM audience in order to explain the nuances of working with temporary labor and partnering with staffing agencies
- Ability to effectively influence staffing vendors to support ABM’s labor needs at the most competitive rates in the market
- Maintain an awareness of ABM pricing model and the impact of unfilled positions on cost plus account as well as the impact of competitive bill rates on fixed-fee accounts.
- Strong people skills and highly collaborative with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
