Expand your leadership experience and join a small, close-knit team that is supporting an essential mission for our customer on the Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) USMC and Force Level (FL) programs. The Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems team brings the power of integrated information technology to air warfare in support of the TBMCS programs. The TBMCS warfighting system integrates a suite of C2 applications, and a full range of air mission functions, sensor data and intelligence gathering, and automates many elements that comprise the planning and execution phases for theater air operations.
THE WORK
In this important role you will:
• Assume a first-line management position managing a team of 15-20 engineers across multiple engineering disciplines
• Be responsible for Release Manager (RM) Activities as Key Individual named on the contract
• Be responsible for day-to-day tracking and execution of Systems and Software Integration and Test engineering activities for the TBMCS programs
• Interface regularly with team members, program leadership, and customer leadership concerning operations and scheduling of all phases of development, integration, and test
• Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities for Software Integration and Test tasks, to include: support creation and validation of program schedules; understand and report on Earned Value Management System (EVMS); track monthly program cost/schedule; manage customer objectives; and support proposals/cost estimation activities.
• Track Software Integration and Test activities, including Software Integration and Test status, issues, roadblocks/challenges and associated action plans, communicate activities to the team, and collaborate with the Engineering Program Manager.
• This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:Basic Qualifications :
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
• Previous experience on a software development, system integration/test, or sustainment program
• Demonstrated success in technical leadership role and driving issues/challenges to closure
• Familiarity with systems engineering, integration, and test (SEIT), and mission assurance fundamentals necessary for delivering command and control systems
• Experience leading/managing a team
• Experience developing/executing program schedules
• Experience working closely with customer personnel
• Experience in overseeing, organizing, and/or assisting Integration and Test staff in the execution of tasking
• Willingness to travel for remote site operations, as necessary
• Willingness to occasionally work shift schedules and support program objectives that require additional hours beyond the scheduled work week, as necessary
• Familiarity with MS Office products (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills

• Familiarity and experience with Atlassian toolset (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex information, technical decisions, and issues to both highly technical and non-technical reviewers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills/ full spectrum leadership abilities, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers
• Demonstrated experience within Software/Systems Integration and/or Test Engineering
• CAM and EVMS work experience
• Working knowledge of 1LMX tools

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
