Dover Precision Components is hiring a Human Resources Manager for our Waukesha Bearnings business located in Antigo, WI. We manufacture and deliver a wide range of instrumentation and control solutions for the Oil & Gas Production and Natural Gas Compression markets. Our products improve the protection, performance, and reliability of the Natural Gas Supply Chain while protecting our environment and creating systems and equipment to help producers stay in compliance and meet stringent emission regulations. As the Human Resources manager, you will ensure positive employee relations by providing employees and managers with effective advice and guidance on issues surrounding daily human resources activities and employment conditions and benefits. This position will work closely with the HR team and local facility management. This is a site leadership position as an individual contributor, reporting directly to the HR Director, Global Manufacturing.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide Human Resources expertise to support the achievement of site and business goals, and champion organizational change.
- Partner with client group on local and facility initiatives including safety, culture, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Operate as the onsite HR Business Partner, supporting employee relations and being the point of contact on day-to-day issues, compensation, attendance, and policy administration.
- Advise both local management and employees in HR related matters to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Support payroll process through communication with corporate team as necessary to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.
- Identify, create, and foster opportunities to create a positive, dynamic culture where employees have an opportunity to contribute and grow professionally.
- Manage and support recruiting process for internal and external needs meeting quality and timeliness goals.
- Maintain current proficiency in various HR related skills and matters including compensation, benefits, employee relations trends and practices, legal requirements and regulations, and other knowledge necessary to support effective employee relations.
- Monitor key performance indicators, such as headcount, overtime, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR KPI’s as required.
- Perform benefits administration, including communicating benefits information to employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the team and client group.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree required with preference for related field of study, such as Human Resources or Business Administration.
- 5+ years’ work experience in Human Resources with emphasis in generalist responsibilities, preferably within manufacturing environment(s).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- High proficiency and organized in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Independent self-starter, with the ability to make sound judgement decisions.
- Our Antigo facility is under ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen
ALSO GREAT IF YOU BRING/ PREFERENCES
- PHR/SPHR certification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive employee engagement, identification of organizational opportunities and gaps, determine solutions, and implement change.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify business risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations (i.e. NLRB, FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA).
