The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health is seeking a Clinical Informaticist to work REMOTELY and support its $4.6B single award DHMSM IDIQ contract, known as MHS GENESIS. This highly visible program provides modernization of Electronic Health Records (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense, supporting nearly 10 million service members and their families worldwide. While every healthcare system is addressing quality, user experience and cost, the MHS GENESIS program has the added challenge of delivering these objectives within the DOD security environment, at the DOD’s global scale, all while supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA)’s vision of a medically ready force ─ which is essential to our national defense.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Clinical Informaticist will join the End User Engagement Team and support the implementation, deployment, and sustainment of capabilities for a dynamic and expanding portfolio of health solutions. Selected candidate will support several different work streams with a focus on clinical workflow and change management and adoption activities. Key activities include:
Current state assessment, workflow analysis and recommendations
Recommendations for new workflows and updates to existing workflows.
Change Management support for deployments including:
Development of Start-Stop-Continue
Change Impact Summary
Supervisor Change Sessions
Support of action plans
Support content development for training
Support virtual and onsite workflow adoption reinforcement
FACTORS FOR SUCCESS
BSN degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance based on the minimum of a Tier 3 investigation. Federal Government requirement.
Hands on experience in clinical informatics and proficiency in data analysis tools
Strong understanding of healthcare workflow and clinical terminologies
Deep knowledge of hospital and ambulatory processes
Experienced in Oracle (Cerner) electronic health record
Strong project management knowledge
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the proven ability to work across different audiences, personalities and experience levels.
Proven team management success and the ability to identify and help resolve issues and risks
HOW YOU WILL STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD
Highly articulate on the integration across clinical and revenue cycle workflows
Expertise in Cerner Millennium product
Demonstrated success in driving electronic health system adoption across complex organizations

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
