Responsible for maintaining office equipment and supplies and handles shipping and receiving operations. Oversees the repair of inoperative equipment. Manages a variety of duties to ensure that the buildings daily operations function smoothly and ensures building provides a safe, positive and professional image of Comcast. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.
Job Description
- Manage the daily activities of the housekeeping department including appropriate cleaning of all areas.
- Daily monitoring of Housekeeping related staff and activities.
- To ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all the common areas, office area, Plumbing, and Sanitary Systems.
- Preparing Housekeeping and other material requisition and maintaining monthly Inventory records.
- Supervisor on Housekeeping and Pantry staff on their work.
- Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; decides for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.
- Routinely Inspect all services to ensure performance measures are being maintained.
- To review the monthly consumables, tools, and equipment for housekeeping and maintain the inventory.
- To measure the effectiveness of housekeeping and agency staff conduct training of the Vendor Staff.
- Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing.
- Organizing, time management, prioritizing, and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload.
- Strong task management skills in different facility management and maintenance including pest control, waste management, grounds-keeping, and other operations that often occur simultaneously.
- Knowledge of equipment to ensure that all soft services-related equipment is functioning properly.
- A sound understanding of local laws and regulations, as well as industry code compliance, to ensure that all such laws and regulations are adhered to.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to creating and delivering reports.
- Budgetary adherence and key performance indicators.
- Ensure the maintenance and good condition of the building/facility and in collaboration with suppliers and internal customers, maintenance plans preventive at different levels.
